MINA RASHID CRUISE TERMINAL

DP World’s aspiration to develop Mina Rashid as the Cruise Terminal began in 2001, eventually developed Mina Rashid into a sophisticated, ultra-modern cruise terminal. This aim was in line with Dubai’s strategic goal of positioning itself as the region’s leading tourist destination.

Dubai's strategic location midway between Europe and Asia. London is 7 hours to the west, Mediterranean is 5 hours to the west, Hong Kong & Singapore are 7-8 hours to the east is currently GCC’s largest home port. Port Rashid is located between 55° 16 East and 25°16 North. The only port in the Gulf where a Cruise ship was named (COSTA DELIZIOSA)

The Dubai Cruise Terminal is developed and is owned by DP World, and managed by DTCM, our strategic partners. Dubai Cruise Terminal offers state-of-the-art facilities. Spread over 3,300 sqm, the terminal has a capacity to handle two ocean-going cruise vessels or 7,000 passenger simultaneously.

Dubai is home port to three major global cruise operators – Royal Caribbean, Costa Cruise. It has been voted the Middle East’s Leading Cruise Port at the World Travel Awards for three

years in a row. DP World intends to expand the cruise terminal facilities to cater for as many as seven giant vessels simultaneously. The plans are on pipeline to develop a world class recreational area at Mina Rashid to reflect Dubai’s strong cultural heritage, further strengthening Dubai’s position as the leading regional cruise hub and integrating the MIna Rashid waterfront back into the local community.
